CCCU Extends Prayer for Middle East Region

October 9, 2023 (WASHINGTON, DC) – The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities is saddened by the brutal attack on Israel and extends heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of the innocent lives lost. As we kneel in prayer, we also stand in support for those who strive for a peaceful existence. For 30 years, the CCCU has embraced cultural engagement and civil discourse in the Middle East through academic programs, recognizing that the world is enriched when people learn from and about each other. We are thankful for the safety of students currently in the Middle East and seek God’s grace and light in this moment of darkness.
