CCCU Statement on Passing of Queen Elizabeth II

The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities is deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II and sends heartfelt sympathies to members of the Royal family. The Queen’s commitment and loyalty to her people was immeasurable.  We ask for the Lord to bless the people in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries as they remember and honor their beloved Queen. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4).
