"Focusing on Staff Care & Development While Getting the Job Done"
As decision-makers and influencers in our respective institutions, we are expected to lead and shepherd, well. That may inform application and practice differently during challenging times of reallocated resources, merged responsibilities, and heightened awareness of global and societal challenges. The good news is that applying Biblical principles of care and communication still provide a clearly articulated pathway to success.

“Equipping and Mobilizing CCCU Students to Engage Their World with Their Faith”
With the desire of students to frame their education at a Christian College as a preparation to engage their world with their faith, students expect Christian colleges to be seasons of equipping, a chance to be trained and mobilized in the faith to go out, rather than a refuge to hide away. While there are substantive challenges facing Christian higher education, perhaps our greatest opportunity lies in a new generation of students who want their education to go beyond the campus and to impact their communities, country, and culture. This plenary focuses on understanding this emerging desire for mission-integrated education and an exhortation to CCCU leaders to take hold of this opportunity in our contexts to breathe life into our shared calling to equip students.

“AI and the Future of Christian Higher Ed”
Throughout its history, higher education has always been transformed by social and technological changes. This session will explore how AI is changing higher education today, consider challenges and opportunities, identify key philosophical and theological concerns, and address next steps for administrators, faculty, and student-facing staff such as chaplains and student life professionals. Given the significant social and technological challenges and opportunities connected with AI, how might Christian higher education be shaped by—and shape—this transformative time?

Dr. Michael Paulus, Dean of the Library, Seattle Pacific University
Dr. Stan Rosenberg, Vice President for Research and Scholarship, CCCU
