CCCU Expands Global Network with New Members

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) welcomes four new members to its global community of Christ-centered institutions of higher education. These four institutions join more than 170 members around the globe, collectively serving to transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and service to biblical truth.
Southwestern Adventist University (Keene, TX)
Since 1893, Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU), operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has existed to inspire students to develop academically, to deepen their faith and to devote their lives to using their knowledge and faith in service. SWUA joins the CCCU as a governing member.
Wesley Biblical Seminary (Ridgeland, MS)
For 50 years, Wesley Biblical Seminary (WBS) has developed trusted leaders for faithful churches as a biblical, Wesleyan seminary in the Deep South. WBS joins the CCCU as an associate member.
Mongolia International University (Mongolia)
Mongolia International University (MIU) is a leading international university offering English-language higher education in Central Asia. Today, the university serves more than 600 students representing seven different countries. MIU joins the CCCU as an international affiliate.
Asian Pastoral Institute (Singapore)
Utilizing an apprenticeship model focused on experiential learning, Asian Pastoral Institute offers undergraduate and graduate programs to equip Christian men and women for their work in manifold ministries. Asian Pastoral Institute joins the CCCU as an international affiliate.

These four new members join the CCCU’s network of more than 170 colleges and universities around the globe, including more than 130 in the U.S. and Canada and 30+ from an additional 18 countries. Member institutions benefit from a wide range of services, including professional development opportunities, legislative advocacy, networking groups and regular communications highlighting best practices, timely resources and stories spotlighting the impact of Christian higher education.
