CCCU Announces Tricia Wilson as New Director of Faith Integration
June 24, 2026
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities today announced that Tricia Wilson, Ph.D., will assume the role of Director of Faith Integration, effective July 1, 2026.
In this role, Wilson will lead the continued development of the CCCU Center for Faith and Learning and its portfolio of programs, events, publications, and resources designed to advance the integration of faith and learning across CCCU member institutions. She will also partner with campus ministry directors throughout the CCCU to ensure their perspectives and insights help shape the Center’s future initiatives and programming, as well as other CCCU gatherings and events.
Wilson is an experienced leader with more than 20 years serving in administration roles in higher education and church ministry. Most recently, Wilson served as provost of Lancaster Bible College where she guided academic strategy and led the integration of faith and learning across the curriculum. She is deeply committed to helping institutions cultivate Christ-centered environments where students, staff, and faculty can thrive.
Wilson will succeed John Addleman, Ph.D., the CCCU’s first Director of Faith Integration, who will be retiring effective August 31, 2026.
CCCU president David A. Hoag said, “Faith integration lies at the very heart of what makes Christian higher education distinctive, and the CCCU is committed to equipping our members, faculty, and administrators to strengthen its impact. Tricia Wilson brings a deep personal investment in faith-integrated learning and a proven ability to lead teams in advancing the concept across campus life. I am confident she will build upon the strong foundation John Addleman has established, ensuring this work remains a keystone of our mission and service to our community.”
Wilson attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Christian education and where a commitment to the integration of faith and learning was fostered. She went on to earn a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University and a PhD from Azusa Pacific University. Wilson’s doctoral research focused on faculty use of educationally effective practices, including reflective and integrative learning.
“I believe the CCCU and the Center for Faith and Learning is uniquely positioned to advance Christian higher education,” said Tricia Wilson. “I am grateful to join the CCCU staff and look forward to partnering with administrators, faculty, and staff of member institutions to strengthen and enhance faith and learning in the classroom and beyond.
Dr. John Addleman and the Advisory Board have built a great foundation, and I am eager to work alongside colleagues across the CCCU network in this next chapter for faith and learning.”
