2019 New Presidents Institute
Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, Teton Village, WY
Overview
This Institute is designed for first- or second-year CCCU presidents and, if married, their spouses. Forming a cohort with other new presidents, the New Presidents Institute creates for participants a rich bond built on empathy and common commitments.
Experienced content experts focus on best practices and best ideas in the following areas: the roles and relationships between the president and the board; the characteristics of Christ-like campus leadership; the president’s role in fundraising; the use of consultants; the president’s impact on campus culture; and other relevant topics.
A great part of the NPI is the presence of several seasoned presidents who provide context and experience in all of the subject areas. In addition to the lasting relationships built with the other new peer presidents, the Institute’s mentoring program matches each new president with an experienced president for a mentorship that continues throughout the following year. The NPI builds a great foundation for presidents.
