The CCCU’s Doctoral Education Council is pleased to gather once again with doctoral program directors, faculty, and administrators from member institutions for this biennial event. This event is an interactive conference on issues of doctoral education development and support, promoting increased excellence in doctoral education at CCCU institutions for all doctoral program directors, faculty, and administrators.
This gathering will take place on the campus of George Fox University in Newberg, OR, from Thursday, September 17 through Saturday, September 19.
Call for Proposals
2026 Doctoral Education Conference proposals will be accepted until June 30, 2026. The submission form must be completed fully for proposals to be considered.
SCHEDULE & AGENDA
The schedule and agenda for the 2026 Doctoral Ed Conference will enable all attendees to network with one another, hear from impactful presenters, and take part in a hands-on workshop opportunity to further grow and develop a doctoral education curriculum. The below schedule and agenda will be updated regularly as more details are confirmed.

9:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Pre-conference for New and Developing Doctoral Program Directors and Faculty,
- This pre-conference will be led by Ben Pyykkonen, Wheaton College and Trace Hebert, George Fox University
