Plenary Session: Love Thy Data - Research for the Higher Ed Marketer
Every higher education marketing, PR, enrollment, advancement, and communications professional should know at least a few things about research. Data is the language that higher education speaks. Without it, it is my opinion against yours and decision-making based on an “n of one.” In this session, we will discuss the role research should play in your strategy, the basics you should know about both qualitative and quantitative techniques, and the metrics you should be tracking over time. Using examples from a wide variety of faith-based institutions, we will demonstrate how a strong research agenda can raise the efficiency and effectiveness of your entire division.

Closing Plenary: A 500 Mile Journey: Lessons of Faith, Love, and Friendship
Born a little over 36 hours apart, Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray have been blessed with a lifelong friendship. They are no strangers to challenges. Some they have chosen, while others have been thrust upon them. Despite Justin living life from a wheelchair due to a progressive neuromuscular disease, he and Patrick conquered the Camino de Santiago, making their way across 500 miles from France to the Cathedral of Santiago. Justin and Patrick use many of the lessons to shed light on the inescapable love of God.
