Secular Literature and Christian Faith in an Introductory Literature Course
Acourse integrating faith issues with the study ofliterature. The course approaches reading literature as a Christianand a student-scholar with a focus on a complex web of genres andtheir elements, enduring themes and issues, introductions tocritical approaches, and discussion and writing opportunities.These issues are explored under an umbrella of providing anunderstanding of how literature can give us insights into our ownlives as well as the world around us.
