Jerusalem and the National Academy of Science: Is There a Christian Philosophy of Science?

Reproduced by permission from Christian Scholar's Review

In his article, "Covenantal Science: Impossible or Required?" (CSR XXII:4, June 1993), David Wilcox argued that Christian scientists ought to challenge the naturalistic assumptions of contemporary natural science, and to teach science "under the covenant." Karl Giberson argues that the project of constructing a Christian philosophy of science is unworkable, and proposes an alternative. Mr. Giberson teaches physics at Eastern Nazarene College.
