Dr. Don Douglas is Professor of InterCultural Studies at Biola University, having servednine years as the Dean of the College of InterCultural Studies at the university. Dr. Douglas played a critical role in the establishment of the CCCU's China Studies Program and has a distinquished career in worldwide engagement. He is a Senior Fellow with the CCCU. This paper responds to the paper written by Dr.Richard Slimbach, "Globalization, the Kingdom of God and Christian Higher Education."
