Research and Assessment

The professional development research and assessment projects are designed to enhance the overall quality of CCCU campuses by supporting each institution through research relevant to our schools, related conferences and networking. Projects include the Comprehensive Assessment Project.

The CCCU also conducts a variety of research and surveys on member campuses. The results offer helpful tools of comparison and show our strengthsand weaknesses in the areas of compensation packages for faculty, adminstrators and presidents; enrollment trends and recruitment costs; and tuition.

Research Agenda

The CCCU seeks to accomplish its research agenda through many means: by conducting large-scale research on the most pressing issues facing our members; by convening scholars from across the CCCU to form research teams to advance specific lines of inquiry; and by providing guidance to individual researchers desiring to pursue items listed on the CCCU Research Agenda.
