As the world watches the news of Haiti’s devastation, we ask you to join us in prayer for the people of Haiti, especially our two CCCU affiliate institutions, Queensland University and North Haiti Christian University, and all those involved in relief efforts. We urge you to encourage student groups and campus communities to organize prayer support efforts on your campuses. Those who would like to provide financial support for the needs of these two Haitian campuses may do so by sending funds to the CCCU. The CCCU has played this role in the past for collaborative relief efforts, like Hurricane Katrina, so we will accept donations online or by check to support our Haitian affiliate campuses. You can send donations to the Haitian campuses by donating online or by sending checks to: CCCU (memo: for Haitian campuses), 321 Eighth Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002. We will ensure that the funds are dispersed safely and directly to the Haitian campuses for earthquake relief efforts.
