CCCU Campuses respond to Haiti earthquake

In response to the Haiti earthquake, students on more than 150 college campuses, including many CCCU campuses, are organizing Prayer Gatherings through World Vision ACT:S (formerly Acting on AIDS), a network of students committed to faith and justice formation, creative activism, and effective advocacy.

World Vision, which has worked in Haiti for more than 30 years, has more than 800 Haitian staff as well as a dozen international disaster response experts responding throughout affected areas. The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities is a higher education association of 181 intentionally Christ-centered institutions around the world. There are now 111 member campuses in North America and all are fully-accredited, comprehensive colleges and universities with curricula rooted in the arts and sciences. In addition, 70 affiliate campuses from 24 countries are part of the CCCU.
