The CCCU is deeply saddened by the loss of three students and the father of two of the students in a small-plane crash Saturday near Crystal Lake, Ill. The students were Ramie Harris of Wheaton College, Shey Harris of Anderson University (IN), and Chris Backus of Indiana Wesleyan University. The CCCU staff joins all Council members in continued prayer for these students’ families as well as the broader institutional families at these schools, united in our faith, confidence and hope we share in our eternal and ever-present God.
