A webinar held June 15, 2010, highlighted the outcomes of the Creation Care Mini-Grants which were provided out of the CCCUs Creation Care Fund in May and November of 2009.
Six schools were chosen to receive grant/seed money in the amount of $5000 to jumpstart creation care projects on their campuses last year. Those schools were:
- Carson-Newman College (TN)
- Eastern Nazarene College (MA)
- Kings College University (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
- Milligan College (TN)
- Northwestern College (IA)
- Tabor College (KS)
The June 15 webinar allowed representatives from these campuses to connect and share what they did with the money, including both successes and failures. The webinar created a space to ask questions and comment on other campuses projects.
Also mentioned during the webinar were CCCU initiatives related to creation care:
Contact lists were provided after the webinar for ongoing interaction and networking among these campuses.
