CCCU schools selected as Great Colleges to Work For

Member and affiliate institutions of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) were named Great Colleges to Work For by The Chronicle of Higher Education. Of the 275 colleges who responded to The Chronicles 2010 survey, 97 were recognized as great colleges to work for, meaning they stood out in at least one of 12 categories considered the core attributes of a great academic workplace.

Among those recognized from CCCU campuses were:

Abilene Christian University (TX), in the categories of: Teaching Environment, Facilities, Workspaces, Security, Job Satisfaction, Work/Life Balance, Confidence in Senior Leadership, Supervisor or Department-Chair Relationship. Abilene Christian University also made the Honor Roll.

Hardin-Simmons University (TX), in the categories of: Job Satisfaction, Work/Life Balance, Supervisor or Department-Chair Relationship, Tenure Clarity and Process.

Lincoln Christian University (IL), in the categories ofSupervisor or Department-Chair Relationship;Work-Life Balance;and Confidence in Senior Leadership.

Regent University (VA), in the categories of: Facilities, Workspaces, Security, Work/Life Balance.

Valley Forge Christian College (PA), in the categories of: Facilities, Workspaces, Supervisor or Department-Chair Relationship.
