VIENNA, Va.- International Justice Mission's (IJM) fourth annual Global Prayer Gathering will be held April 28-30, 2006, in Vienna, Va., and will include a pre-weekend special gathering for college students at 2 p.m. on Friday. The Global Prayer Gathering will bring together IJM field staff from around the world as hundreds gather to pray for God's justice and to give thanks for his faithfulness to the victims IJM serves. Attendees will also meet individuals who have been rescued through IJM.
Students will hear from IJM President Gary Haugen and other staff and be able to share about what they are doing on their campus and to pray for one another.
International Justice Mission is a justice ministry that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery and oppression.Since its inception in 1997, IJM has rescued hundreds of victims of abuse and oppression. It now has offices in 11 countries around the world.
IJM currently has student groups on 98 college and university campuses, a number of which are CCCU schools.These IJM Campus Chapters raise awareness of the reality of injustice in the world, raise funds to support the work of IJM, and raise their voices to God on behalf of the work of IJM and the victims they serve.To request more information about IJM Campus Chapters, email chapters@ijm.org.
