Community Participation Criteria

CCCU Networking Communities

The Networking Communities were established for peers across CCCU campuses to connect and communicate with one another. Participation is maintained through the Office of Professional Development & Research. The following criteria will be utilized for participation:

Alumni Professionals

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Alumni Professionals Networking Community is available for people who work in the field of alumni relations at a CCCU member or affiliate institution.

To join a networking community, create a CCCU profile and select the option of the applicable peer group. Peer group approvals are made within two business days and approved members are notified via email. We invite you to create or update your CCCU profile to join a peer group that is applicable to your field of expertise.



Assessment

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Assessment Networking Community is available for people who have an interest in assessment, integration, and institutional research. The interest can stem from a related position within one’s organization or be a more general interest.

To join a networking community, create a CCCU profile and select the option of the applicable peer group. Peer group approvals are made within two business days and approved members are notified via email. We invite you to create or update your CCCU profile to join a peer group that is applicable to your field of expertise and/or interest.



Campus Attorneys

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership. The networking community is focused around shared professional interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Campus Attorneys Networking Community is available for attorneys working at or on behalf of Council member and affiliate institutions who are named as legal counsel in the CCCU Member Database. It is this database that is used to confirm subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists. Subscription requests from individuals not in the named position will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In such situation, approval will be sought from the president of the Council campus with which the attorney affiliates him/herself.

Peer group approvals are made within two business days and approved members are notified via email. We invite you to create or update your CCCU profile to join a peer group that is applicable to your field of expertise.



Career Services Professionals

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership. The networking community is focused around shared professional interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Career Services Professionals Networking Community is available for all career services administrators including career directors and support professional at a CCCU member or affiliate institution and are currently working as professionals in their respective fields.

To join a networking community, create a CCCU profile and select the option of the applicable peer group. Peer group approvals are made within two business days and approved members are notified via email. We invite you to create or update your CCCU profile to join a peer group that is applicable to your field of expertise.



Campus Ministry Directors

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Campus Ministry Directors Networking Community is available for people working at Council member and affiliate institutions who are named as the campus ministry directors and pastors in the CCCU Member Database. It is this database that is used to confirm subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists. Subscription requests from individuals not in the named position will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval will be sought from the individual in the named position before subscribing additional users from the same institution.

The Communications (faculty) Networking Community is available for faculty members who have an interest in communications as it specifically relates to classroom learning.

Degree Completion

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators and faculty focused around shared interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Degree Completion Community is available for faculty and administrators who currently oversee degree completion programs. Because of the nature of this networking community, the group is also open to people who are interested in pursuing a degree and would like more information about the process.

Diversity

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Diversity Networking Community is available for people who have an interest in diversity as it relates to campus life. The interest can stem from a related position within one’s organization or be a more general interest.

To join a networking community, create a CCCU profile and select the option of the applicable peer group. Peer group approvals are made within two business days and approved members are notified via email. We invite you to create or update your CCCU profile to join a peer group that is applicable to your field of expertise and/or interest.


External Grant Funding

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership. The networking community is focused around shared professional interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position or with similar responsibilities may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses. 

The External Grant Funding Community is available for those at or on behalf of Council member and affiliate institutions who are working in the area of external funding, sponsored projects, and grants and are part of the CCCU Member Database. It is this database that is used to confirm subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists. Subscriptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Peer group approvals are made within two business days and approved members are notified via email. Faculty Development

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Faculty Development Networking Community is available for people working at Council member and affiliate institutions who oversee faculty development opportunities. Faculty members at CCCU institutions who are interested in their own career development may also join this group.

Financial Aid Administrators

The CCCU provides this networking community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Financial Aid Networking Community is available for people working at Council member and affiliate institutions who are named as the Financial Aid Administrators in the CCCU Member Database. It is this database that is used to confirm subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists. Subscription requests from individuals not in the named position will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval will be sought from the individual in the named position before subscribing additional users from the same institution.

The Honors Community is available for faculty and administrators who currently oversee honors programs. Because of the nature of this networking community, the group is also open to people who are interested in joining an honors program and would like more information about it.

Human Resources

This subscription based service provides a forum where individuals in the same position may connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses.

The Human Resources Networking Community is available for people working at Council member and affiliate institutions who are named as the human resources officer in the CCCU Member Database. It is this database that is used to confirm subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists. Subscription requests from individuals not in the named position will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval will be sought from the individual in the named position before subscribing additional users from the same institution.

The Leadership Development Institute Alumni Networking Community is available for people at Council member and affiliate institutions who have completed a Leadership Development Institute that was hosted by the CCCU.

Librarians

The CCCU provides this Networking Community as a benefit of membership to administrators focused around shared administrative interests and responsibilities. 

The Librarians Networking Community is available for professional library staff and library science faculty working at member and affiliate institutions. This subscription-based service provides a forum where library professionals can connect on relevant issues and ask questions specific to their field across Council campuses, and members of this community can opt-in for subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists.

The Online, Graduate and Adult Program Administrators Community is available to administrators working at Council member and affiliate institutions who oversee academic programs intended for adult learners, including online, hybrid, undergraduate degree completion, continuing education, and graduate programs.

The Technology Networking Community is available for people working at Council member and affiliate institutions who are named as the chief technology officers in the CCCU Member Database. It is this database that is used to confirm subscriptions to the peer group mailing lists. Due to the nature of technology, we understand there may be an interest in subscribing to the peer group despite not having a directly related title at a CCCU institution. Subscription requests from individuals not in the named position will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Webmasters Networking Community is available for people who have an interest in web technology. The interest can stem from a related position within one’s organization or be a more general interest.
