Aviation pioneer, Beryl Markham, wrote that"if a man has any greatness in him, it comes tolight not in one flamboyant hour but in the ledger of his dailywork." While Ms. Markham did not know Bob and SueAndringa, she undoubtedly had in mind individuals likethem-ones who make a significant difference over alifetime of service. Such is the legacy of Bob and Sue Andringa.

Bob's impact on the CCCU has been undeniable.Through his vision, the CCCU has strengthened student programs,increased visibility in Washington DC, expanded internationalstructure, focused emphasis on advancing interculturalcompetencies, improved financial health, and expanded awareness forChrist-centered education.

Sue has been a wonderful partner in the work. She has hosted andmentored countless presidential spouses and has been a constantprayer partner with our campuses. Her warm and caring spirit, andher concern and interest in Christ-centered higher education havebeen vital to our movement.

Bob and Sue conclude their service at the CCCU, but not theirkingdom work. Bob's motto is"peak at 80." They will continueto use their giftedness to transform lives and impact ourcampuses-probably beyond 80.

Bob and Sue Andringa are two of God's choiceservants. Thank you, Bob and Sue, for 12 years of dedicated serviceand thank you for modeling for all of us servants'hearts and committed lives.
