C.S. Lewis on Stage Natalie Grant - The Home Foundation

Tuesday Evening
Pre-Forum event for Campus Ministers

Natalie Grant, a well-known Christian artist, has developed an organization to help fight the unspeakable reality of children and adults trapped by human trafficking. After learning that over 10 million children world-wide have been sold into sexual slavery, and inspired by her trip to the red-light district of Mumbai, India, Natalie Grant founded the HOME Foundation with one goal in mind: to help those who may not otherwise be helped. Committed to education, The Home Foundation has started a program specifically designed for college students. This internship program will offer young adults the opportunity to spend several months with relief organizations fighting human trafficking. The Home Foundation firmly believes in raising up a generation of people committed to eradicating this most horrific brand of evil.

Wednesday Evening
C.S. Lewis on Stage, performed by Tom Key, captures the personality of the author of The Chronicles of Narnia and The Screwtape Letters. Key has been Executive Artistic Director of The Balzer Theater at Herren’s in downtown Atlanta, a professional company giving dramatic voice to the themes of spirituality, race and community in the American South since 1995. His one-man play is a portrait of an Oxford don who could make his audiences think as deeply as he made them laugh. View a video clip from C.S. Lewis on Stage

In 1998, the CCCU launched the LDI and WLDI leadership development initiatives that focused on emerging leaders, women, and people of color. Now, campuses are beginning their own leadership initiatives. This session will provide examples of institutional models for leadership development and will summarize the results of a research study that focused on which components of the CCCU’s work in this area have proven to be most effective.
