C.R.A.L. Update: Leadership Transition Announced
September 14, 2011

As she transitions into a new role, the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities and Indiana Wesleyan University jointly express appreciation for Dr. Cynthia Tweedell’s service as the first executive director of the CCCU Center for Research in Adult Learning at IWU.  We are thankful for her diligent leadership and work in creating and developing the Center for Adult Learning.

As of this month, Dr. Tweedell has accepted an appointment as vice president for institutional effectiveness at Mid-Continent University in Kentucky.

The Center for Research in Adult Learning will now operate under the oversight of Dr. Jim Fuller, the dean of the graduate school at IWU. He is working with the Center’s steering committee to select interim leadership as soon as possible. Dr. Fuller has been a dean of graduate programs at IWU for 10 years and has worked closely with distance and online adult programs. We look forward to Dr. Fuller’s leadership of the Center and his guidance in developing research opportunities in adult learning.

We wish both Dr. Tweedell and Dr. Fuller well in their new roles and added responsibilities.
