- Skills-trainings workshops: campus organizing, implementing an effective environmental campaign, networking, fundraising, communicating Biblical foundations of creation care, coordinating events, environmental partnerships, media and communications, web organizing, and engaging the church community
- Networking events, inspiration, community gatherings and relationship building
The $50 per person registration fee (for all or part of the conference) covers meals from dinner Thursday to breakfast on Sunday and overnight accommodations in residence with other students, as well as all workshops, programs and sessions. Registration and travel scholarships are available for those who need it. E-mail Jane Joyner for more information on that! Non student leaders are encouraged to come and may stay in with students or at local hotels in the area.
This exciting event is hosted by Renewal: A Student Creation Care Network… This is a student-run network born out of the energy and vision of Christian students from both secular and Christian colleges, who care a whole lot about the whole of God’s creation. It is just getting started so now is the time to get involved!
Renewal’s vision is: "To inspire and equip the student generation to lead its communities in the compassionate stewardship of all of God's creation," and, "To advance through word and deed a Christ-centered perspective on environmental issues."
