Description:
The Business and Economics department of Wheaton College (IL) invites applicants for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in economics, beginning in the 2009-2010 academic year. The candidate should hold an earned doctorate in economics or be ABD. Teaching responsibilities will include principles of micro- and/or macroeconomics, along with advanced courses in economics. While there is some flexibility as to the nature of these advanced courses, the department has particular interest in enhancing its curriculum with courses in game theory, labor economics, industrial organization, and/or urban economics. Candidates should have a strong commitment to the liberal arts and to integrating Christian values into their teaching.
