Position: Adjunct Professor of Educational Technology
Course: EDU574 Facilitating Learning Through Technology
When needed: Immediately for orientation with teaching beginning in June, July, or August of 2008.
Details: The course is taught at sites in Indiana and consists of four Saturday workshops that are from 9:00am until 4:30pm. The course emphasizes the learning of technology by perspective teachers for the purposes of designing learning teaching materials, managing the classroom and reporting processes, and utilizing technology as a learning tool by elementary and secondary school students.
Qualifications:
1. Living a life that reflects one’s personal salvation through Jesus Christ.
2. Preferred- A doctorate in a field of education with an undergraduate or graduate degree in technology and its applications to teaching and learning.
3. Desired- A doctorate with significant training and experience in the use of technology as a teaching and learning tool.
4. Acceptable- A masters degree in an area of education with significant training or self-teaching and experience in the use of technology as a teaching and learning tool in the elementary, middle school, or high school settings.
