Nyack College’s Department of Communications has a full-time tenure track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Communications available to start in August of 2008. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate communications courses, in the specific area of audio/video production. Position includes advising, committee/faculty governance participation and related scholarly activities such as publishing and conference papers. An appropriate earned doctorate or one near completion and a successful record of teaching experience at the college level are required. Professional audio/video recording experience and competency in software programs, Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects and PhotoShop preferred.
