Background

In his role as Director of Research and Grants Initiatives, Dr. Jesse Rine is responsible for conducting the Council’s annual surveys and advancing a national research agenda for Christian higher education.  His research interests include faith development during the college years, student learning outcomes assessment, and the population ecology of organizations.

A Pittsburgh native, Jesse currently hails from Burke (VA) with his wife, Rebecca, a doctoral candidate in Religious Studies at the University of Virginia.  Jesse enjoys going to art museums, exploring new cities, and searching for squirrels with his dog, Nicholas.
