Commission for Chief Academic Officers

The Chief Academic Officers (CAO) commission is appointed by the CCCU president.  The commission’s primary responsibilities are: to collaborate with the Council to plan the annual CAO meeting; advise the CCCU president and staff on other CCCU-wide professional development opportunities for CAOs; coordinate surveys on behalf of CAOs; and (as requested by the CCCU president) advise the CCCU on professional development and research matters where the commission may have expertise.  The primary staff liaison for the CAO commission is the CCCU Vice President for Professional Development & Research.
