New Web Site Coming Soon

The CCCU will soon be launching a new Web site, designed to better connect members and affiliates from around the world with one another.

With robust peer group discussion boards, a powerful new Career Center and a daily collection of news from CCCU campuses around the world, the new CCCU Web site will be a dynamic platform for hosting international Christian higher education conversations.

Read real-time news and headlines from CCCU campuses.
Aggregating national-scale news stories from member campuses provides two main benefits. First, the campus stories will be told from a national platform on the Council’s Web site, leveraging coverage that otherwise may not be possible. Second, you will be able to keep up with trends in Christian higher education much easier.

Post open jobs or resume/CV to a two-way career center.
The popular Career Center of the cccu.org will continue to be a clearinghouse for job openings. But now, users will also be able to post resumes online and build a customized search for the ideal job. No more scrolling through the hundreds of available jobs—unless you want to. With the new system in place, you’ll be alerted via email when a job is posted which meets criteria you specified. And rather than sit back and wait for applications, campuses will have access to search an ever-growing database of qualified resumes and CVs.

The new site will provide a feature-rich, yet simple-to-use Career Center to better meet the association’s hiring needs.

Key features for employers:

  • Post career openings that are searchable by date, institution, job title, location and other advanced categories
  • Search a continually growing database of resumes and CVs submitted by faith-based job-seekers
  • Track online activity to measure and report job recruitment results
  • Receive notifications of potential new candidates through saved search agents
  • Choose to manage applicants through an integrated job application tool
  • Post Featured Jobs and ads to help their open positions stand out

Key features for career-seekers:

  • Post resumes and CVs online at no charge
  • Build custom search agents
  • Receive email alerts when new jobs match preferences
  • Conveniently search new job openings by multiple criteria

Participate in informative and secure Peer Group and Topical discussion forums.
The driving vision for the Web site redesign was to create an online platform for conversation and knowledge sharing. With the new site, Peer Group and Topical conversations will be hosted online with intuitive discussion forums easier to manage than cumbersome e-lists. The new online format also creates a timeless resource by cataloging helpful conversations for improved knowledge-sharing. Users participating in a discussion forum can also easily manage their preferences by opting to receive email notifications or RSS feeds of new posts in the forums as well.

Easily network with others through an improved campus directory.
With the CCCU’s contact database now fully integrated with the Web site, users will have control on their own contact information. You will be able to easily update your profile whenever necessary. And as a result, the CCCU will have a more accurate and comprehensive directory, which benefits everyone.

Track news, careers and resources through personalized email and RSS alerts.
By using the RSS feeds in various sections of the new Web site, users will custom design the information they want to track. Whether you want the news, new job openings, conference listings or resources, the content you want will be delivered to you in real time so you don’t miss a thing.
