Blueprint for the Future

CCCU Mission To advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education and to help our institutions transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and service to biblical truth.

The Blueprint for the Future, approved by the CCCU Board of Directors in July 2008, is the result of a significant comprehensive self-study and a year-long strategic thinking process.  The process revealed a need for commitment in renewal of continuous work and a pledge to take on new opportunities.

In that spirit the board reaffirmed the Council's mission statement and committed to these guideposts as a Blueprint for the Future.  The Blueprint stands on six commitments and recommitments:

• A recommitment to student programs
• A recommitment to professional development for peer groups, faculty, presidents and trustees
• A recommitment to public policy and advocacy
• A commitment to strengthen research, data collection and analysis
• A commitment to strengthen and expand communications
• A commitment to assist and advance global Christ-centered higher education
